Shiru WA GP is the second born in the family of three children. Her mother’s is Jane Njeri.  Her mother used to sell chang’aa, and Shiru used to watch out for any policemen approaching so that she could alert her not to be caught unawares.

The chang’aa money would pay for their fees and cater for basic needs. Shiru Wa GP Husband and Wedding Shiru Wa GP is married to Antony Thuo. Anthony was a keyboard player. They wedded at Kiambu Deliverance Church. Anthony Thou is an accountant with a leading bank in the country.

Shiru Wa GP Twins Shiru wa GP was enduring an emotional time barely a month after giving birth to her twins. She lost one of the twins due to natural causes. The barely one month old baby Anthony Mwangi Thuo was buried at Mugumo in Kiambu.

He was born on August 11, 2014 and passed away on September 16th, 2014. The other surviving twin (a girl) named Esther had to be attended to at the MP Shah hospital in Nairobi. Her late son Anthony died in his sleep.

Shiru Wa GP tried to wake the twins up from their sleep so that she could feed them but baby Anthony did not wake up. He had no known medical condition prior to his death. Shiru Wa GP Music Career Shiru Wa GP started singing at a very tender age; when she was in class five. Her favorite songs as a child then were those of Simon Kihara, famously known as Musaimo. After completing primary school education at Loreto Primary School in Turitu, She moved to Githurai in Nairobi to live with her uncle. She later went back to Kiambu and joined the A.P dancing group and formed Kiambu Chosen Generation Dancers.

She also started attending church service at the Independent Church, though not as irregular. When she went back to Nairobi,she became a full Christian convert and fully dedicated her life to Christ at Home Care Fellowship in Kahawa, under Rev. Ann Kamau. She was persuaded by a mother called Nyina Wa Mbugua to get saved,which she did. When she returned to Kiambu, her mother could not understand why she decided to get saved. Her mother was not for her decision of salvation since her work was to keep watch of the police and tip her mother off if she saw the police. When she got saved she used to spend most of her time in church praying and helping in other church activities.
