Hi everyone, A friend recently upgraded to a fresh version of Maxwell Render 2.0 and sold me his copy of 1.6. He's out of contact for a while, and I'm having trouble installing it. The standalone installs fine, but the Maxwell plugin for C4D (cinemaxwell) is giving me a real headache. I'm using C4D 10 on a Mac 10.5 machine. Whenever I put the maxwell folder into my plugins, C4D freezes when it starts back up. I can remove files and trace it back to maxwell.dylib which, when taken out, doesn't freeze the program.

Cinema 4D's built-in Advanced and Physical render engines produce fast and beautiful results but they are not the only options for Cinema 4D artists. You can also use Cinema 4D in concert with many world-class 3rd-party render engines and leverage their unique strengths for your projects.

Of course, the plugin doesn't work then, either. So that's the problem.

Anyone have any thoughts?
