PUT THE SHORTCUT TO DEAD SPACE 2 ON YOUR DESKTOP (DONT OPEN THROUGH ORIGIN) THEN, RIGHT CLICK ON THE DEAD SPACE 2 SHORTCUT AND CLICK 'RUN AS ADMINSTRATOR' BAM You can now change resolutions and do whatever you want without that stupid black screen and you dont have to edit that file.
